I completely forgot the default time was 8 and a lot of our players aren't home/available until around 9 usually.

No... I messaged dS about playing at 9 but he said they had a problem of their own. Apparently their page got hijacked (?!) and some of the players that should have been playing against us were removed.
I have asked him if we would like to move the match to a later date when this issue has been sorted but have not heard back from him yet.
