LowLandLions pick up Sjakki
The LowLandLions have added a CS:S team by picking up Dutch side Sjakki. Before being pulled apart by the now defunct Championship Gaming Series, Sjakki were one of Europe's top Source teams. LowLandLions player Sandor "proph" de Munck still believes they can be a top side.
"We are really fortunate to have ended up with this relatively new, thriving organisation. But after a long search we knew LowLandLions was the only organisation that could give us the support we need to help us maintain our gaming-standard, which is European Top."
SK Gaming pick up Xbox 360 console team EvilAxis
SK Gaming have added over 30 players with the addition of console team EvilAxis. The team will focus primarily on Call of Duty, Guitar Hero, Pro Evo and Gears of War. Michael "Spillout" Mazler made it clear that console players belong in e-sports.
"Do not fear, console eSports does not consist of Wii fit exercises and playing Mario Games. The Xbox360 scene is just as broadly diversified and challenging as on the PC. The mouse is indisputably more precise than a pad but there is just as much tactics and skill required in console gaming. We will strive to reproduce the success of SK Gaming has had on the PC in the console world."

Interesting. I wonder if there will be an overall console move into PS3 as well as 360.
