Well it looks like there has been some boardroom battles going on behind the scenes of this title, the result though is that FEAR 2 Will be called FEAR 2 Project Origin. "Do we care really" I hear you say, well probably not its the game we are interested in not the brand. I for one really enjoyed FEAR it came at a fortunate time for me I had been having issues with my broadband and was cut off for a whole Christmas leaving me time to try out some single player games without distraction. The slow mo pistol action gave me a sense of being in a John Woo movie and the creepy little cut scenes kept me on the edge until the end.
Reports thus far indicate that Monolith have spent a little more time improving the level structure and including more open areas rather than the Labyrinth Doom style maps of the first game. Slow motion blam blam will also be making a constant appearance.
Monolith claim this title will pack some real FEAR but I seem to be saying this a lot lately but I will say it again Fingers crossed this is more than just another expansion.
