Finally, EA have big plans for FIFA. Their goal is to eventually have live, synced play with live football matches where players at home can play in replays. Currently, EA is using similar technology that allows American Football analysts to recreate plays as part of a deal with ESPN. That's not the only big plan according to EA's Matt Bilby. He told Eurogamer, "There's 300 million people in the world that paid to interact with a football game last year. We don't sell 300 million copies of FIFA, so until we're at that level we haven't got to the biggest potential of this franchise." That's a lot of FIFA.
