EA's FIFA 10 will be released on October 2, 2009. The big changes include a true 360 degree dribbling system, multi-tasking defenders and an even bigger and better Manager Mode.
The Dark Knight has some bad news. The Joker will not be playable in the 360 version of Batman Arkham Asylum. However, he will be playable in the PS3 version due to an exclusivity deal with Sony. Boo hiss.
Resident Evil 5 will be out on the PC come September 18th. The launch follows Capcom's March release of the title for the 360 and PS3. The PC version will feature a new mode and more costumes and will use GeForce 3D Vision technology from NVIDIA.
Capcom have also announced that Spyborgs will hit shelves on September 25. The Wii exclusive is a co-op beat em' up that also features mini-games. Typical Wii fare? Not according to Kotaku's Brian Crecente who feels that the title could be, "the year's Cinderella story for the Wii: A game of confused design and cluttered play completely revamped to become a sizzling Wii brawler."
An Israeli company has been the first company to offer Online Streamed Gaming to the public. Beating OnLive and Gaikai, PlayCast is now offering streamed games in association with Hot, an Israeli cable provider. Guy De Beers (yes, his real name), CEO of PlayCast said, "the vision of TV games-on-demand is about to come true, enabling new growth opportunities for game publishers and TV operators at minimum investment, as well as an exciting and affordable new gaming experience for hundreds of millions of cable and IPTV viewers around the world."
