Since their days as a Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 squad, Dignitas' Call of Duty 4 360 team have always been one of Europe's top console teams. At the release of the title, the side dominated every competition they entered, boasting multiple championships at both Matchbox360's XL and XLEAGUE. Unfortunately for Dignitas, those days are long behind them.

The man responsible for Dignitas' commitment and success in console sides, Marcus Rumsey, left the team earlier in the year after being moved on to their second team. In his departure, he left behind long-time teammate and friend, South. The split seemed amicable at the time and it was no surprise when Rumsey was soon picked up by The Imperial. The relationship was a match made in heaven; veteran player-manager joins up-and-coming clan looking to establish themselves firmly as one of Europe's best.

With a stable line-up and a new leader, The Imperial's new-look CoD4 team rocked the scene. Rumsey's in-game skills were no longer questioned and the The Imperial returned to their winning ways. With and without Rumsey, the side went a 6-1 during the regular season of the Championship and outscored their opponents by 17 games. Their only loss in Season 1 came at the hands of the former Squadra Recon side, now Team Infused.

Dignitas, now lead by South and including a stable line-up made up of former foes such as Reason Gaming player, U4EA (Euphoria), had a smooth ride through the Championship regular season going a perfect 6-0.

In the play-offs, Dignitas would host the blemish in The Imperial's record, Team Infused. Surprisingly, the game ended in a straight 2-0 win for the boys of Dig. Facing off against The Imperial in the play-offs were Team Ultimatum, who TI would go on to beat 2-0. In the third place play-off, Infused would go on to take out Ultima to grab the cash and third place. This leaves only one match remaining; the Grand Final of the UKeSA CoD4 360 Championship.

Dignitas versus The Imperial, South versus Rumsey. The number one and number two teams in Europe (arguably) are ready to go head-to-head. Maps will be decided on the day with each team getting to pick a map and gametype. The same gametype cannot be played twice. Admins will pick the third map if required. This match-up is sure to be an epic final. Watch the games live, only on QuadV.com

Statement from Jack "South" Dalton:

As a console player I am extremely happy to be involved in the finals of UKeSA. For me this will be one of the biggest LAN finals I would of been to in terms of size and scale and will really give us, the console scene a chance to show our skills in front of other platform players, namingly the PC. We know our opponents and we are very confident, the only thing to do is win.

Statement from Marcus "Rumsey" Rumsey:

We're really happy to make the finals, it really does show the quality of our players as the competition was such a high standard. It's a great achievement to reach the final. It should be a very close game with a lot of great moments of individual skill. Will be a great match to watch.

Editor's Note: Rumsey will transfer to Team CoolerMaster upon completion of UKeSA Grand Finals.
