Microsoft is about to go live with their press briefing at E3 2009. This is a blog containing all the action, as-it-happens from the LA Convention Centre! All times are BST.
18:25 - Live!
18:28 - Beatles to start things off at the Xbox 360 Media Briefing.
18:29 - The Beatles: Rock Band is up first (duh). Harmonix (A. Rigopulos) and MTV (Van Toffler) are on stage. Title will be released on September 9th, 2009 - MY BIRTHDAY! It's a sign.
18:32 - Harmonix is giving a live demo of the game. They've completely changed everything. The game now comes with a life-size Yoko Ono doll that explodes out of the drum kit when a band fails a song... kidding. 'Day Tripper' is in the game.
18:34 - MS are going to reveal 10 of the 45 songs now in The Beatles: Rock Band. First official trailer also being played.
18:36 - Title will include downloadable tracks and full albums. The first album will be Abbey Road just after release. All You Need Is Love will be first downloadable song on Xbox Live only. Proceeds to be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
18:38 - Yoko and Olivia Harrison are onstage being thanked for their work with Harmonix and MS.
18:40 - Now joined by Sir Paul and Ringo. Talking about game, how awesome it is and their virtual representations.
18:43 - Economy is bad, fun is good. Today is about show, not tell. No graphs and sales figures today.
18:45 - Tony Hawk is there to talk about Ride. Demo of new motion control skateboard.
18:46 - Tony Hawk is done his demo. Now time for Modern Warfare 2.
18:48 - Yes, MODERN WARFARE 2!
18:50 - Infinity Ward's Vince Zampella and Jason West on stage. Now going to demo the game.
18:51 - Word is the demo looks hot. "Amazing to say the least," according to Litheon from MN.
18:55 - Demo is on 'Cliff Hanger.' Lots of snow. You climb up side of mountain with ice climbing gear. This is CoD4 with snow.
18:58 - You can take down people while riding the snowmobiles with guns. Chase through forests. Two map packs will be out on Xbox Live before they go live elsewhere.
18:59 - Next up is Final Fantasy 13 with Square Enix. Demo of FF now on the 360.
19:02 - FF will be out in the Spring of 2010. Everything else from here on out is a 360 exclusive.
19:03 - Cliffy B from Epic now up along with Donald Mustard. Epic working on a new Live Arcade title called Shadow Complex.
19:04 - Game is a side-scroller with big bosses.
19:05 - Epic is finished. Joyride is next.
19:06 - Joyride uses Xbox Live Avatars. Game will be free to download and play! Game can be personalized. Out this winter.
19:08 - CRACKDOWN 2!
19:09 - Oh... what's this next? Left4Dead 2! ONLY ON THE 360?!
19:10 - What a coup. Left4Dead 2 out on November 17, 2009.
19:12 - Splinter Cell: Conviction is next. Live demo is up. Gameplay is pretty brutal, as in very hardcore and serious. Storyline works in real-time, none of this on-rails BS.
19:15 - How insane is it that L4D 2 will only on released on the 360? At least when it is launched?!?
19:17 - Splinter Cell: Conviction is out this autumn.
19:18 - Forza Motorsport 3 now. I knew it would be announced. I am all knowing.
19:20 - Game is out in October. Turn 10's Dan Greenwalt is at conference.
19:21 - @Wario John from MS said all titles from Epic onwards are 360 exclusives? Perhaps that just means consoles?
19:21 - Over 400 cars in Forza 3.
19:23 - Game allows for creation of HD content using Forza 3 editor.
19:25 - Forza 3 is out on October 27th. Now time for Halo: ODST.
19:27 - ODST weapons are different from Spartan weapons. New pistol and a vision accessory called VISR.
19:29 - You can flashback in the game.
19:30 - ODST is out on September 22nd. Co-op mode is called 'firefight.'
19:31 - Next up is another Bungie Project... first video.
19:31 - Halo: Reach.
19:32 - Just the teaser video. Multiplayer demo will be available with ODST. Game is out autumn 2010. Now Alan Wake.
19:33 - Demo. Game looks as expected... great.
19:36 - Alan Wake has been on for...ever.
19:39 - Spring 2010 for AW. Now for Xbox Live... first up, music.
19:40 - Partnership with last.FM - Gold members get it for free. Netflix talk now.
19:41 - SKY deal. Live TV over Live... includes sporting events such as Premiership. No additional hardware. Also relaunching Zune service.
19:42 - All movies now 1080p. No downloads or discs. All streaming. Instant On 1080p HD is out in late 2009.
19:44 - Live Party - you can watch videos and games together without everyone having the content.
19:45 - Facebook partnership.
19:47 - Facebook to come out on the 360 with photos, etc..
19:48 - Twitter is also coming to the 360. You can make posts from Live. Both out this autumn. Xbox LIve update anyone?
19:51 - Metal Gear Solid Rising coming to the 360! Kojima now on stage.
19:53 - Now motion controllers. Play without controller?!
19:56 - Project Natal. Now on stage is Steven Spielberg!
20:00 - How do we make games easier to play and more user-friendly? We need to make the technology invisible.
20:02 - Kudo Tsunoda now up to show Project Nadal.
20:03 - Facial recognition brings up your profile, dashboard works with hand motions, etc... this is pretty awesome. We're talking Minority Report awesome.
20:05 - Free to move in 3D space. Demo is working really well for such new technology.
20:06 - Single player only for now but could go multiplayer eventually. Now Paint Party!
20:08 - Voice recognition. Choose colours, use your body to paint...
20:10 - Peter Molyneaux now up to show more Project Nadal.
20:15 - Demo is a woman interacting with You can interact with surroundings like water. Reflection can be seen. Pretty awesome stuff. And that was all! Xbox Live Conference over.

Splinter Cell WOOOO this years games just got really good might find some worth to single player this year afterall. bunch of community stuff i just don't care about, just make my music player load as fast as the old one and ill be happy.
still need to see the vid for my self time to go hunting.

any good streams for this yet? gamespot not up and IGN started in VERY far in and crashed got shuved a bunch of demo footage of prototype then shifted to EA?

Microsoft had a good stream. I will post the stream for the next one when it goes live. I am going to round up EA and Ubisoft this morning.
