Resi Evil Publisher invites gamers to try out latest developments, Ghostbusters: The Video Game takes centre stage

The UK eSports Association (UKeSA), today confirmed Sony Computer Entertainment and Capcom Europe will be exhibiting at the GameOn! London event on 20th and 21st June.

Capcom will have several titles available for the public to try out including; Dark Void (Xbox 360), Lost Planet 2 (Xbox 360/Xbox Live), Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles (Wii), Tatsunoko Vs Capcom (Wii), Spyborgs (Wii), Marvel vs Capcom (PlayStation Network), and the remake of the original Resident Evil on Nintendo Wii.

Stuart Turner, Capcom, Head of UK Marketing, said “Capcom are delighted to be part of GameOn! It gives us a chance to show off our forthcoming titles for the first time to the UK public at a fresh new exciting event.”

Ray Mia, Chief Executive of UKeSA, added, "Capcom are one of the most innovative and respected game publishers. It is exciting to have such a renowned company joining the growing list of market leading exhibitors at GameOn! London."

Sony's much talked about Ghostbusters: The Video Game, which launches the same weekend, will be shown together with the latest games for PlayStation 3 and PSP.

Ray Mia, Chief Executive of UKeSA, added, “There’s already a lot of momentum behind Ghostbusters and it’s a superb idea to use the event to herald the game’s arrival. We’re thrilled Sony is onboard for what will undoubtedly be an amazing event.”

More than 20,000 gamers are expected to descend on London’s Olympia National hall for the two day event. Gamers of all ages will be able to try out the very latest pre-release games due out later this year, as well as the ultimate in video games technology. The event will also feature the UKeSA Season One Grand Finals.

Tickets are available from HMV. More information about the event can be found on the official website.
