Toxic lose KritikaL & Re1ease (CSS)
Dignitas have plucked two of Fragmaster's Toxic top players by signing Re1ease (Dan Mullen) and KritikaL (Luke Green). In order to make room for their new acquisitions Dignitas have dropped Harriman only a month after signing him and moved Reality (Pete Wright) to the sixth spot. Luke Green said, "Bit of a happy and sad day today really, I'd like to thank everyone at fragmasters, yakkkk especially he absolutely gave me all his trust and everything he could do in his power to make us become a top team, unfortunately I did not achieve what I wanted to with Fragmasters Toxic..." He also added, "Big thanks to ODEE for giving me another chance in the organisation, big thanks to wilzOOO, wez and Rattlesnk for giving me another chance. I will do everything I possibly can to not let them down. A few changes will be made in the dignitas style of play and this team is here to play and to be the best"
TLR Returns (CSS)
The Last Resort is back. After putting the TLR brand on hold during rough times, Chefinal (Michael Robinson) is back. TLR have signed up des, nayden, BenKoFk, Alex and Jakem to play CSS for the team. In a statement on the TLR website, Chefinal said, "It's is very exciting to move forward with TLR and build the brand to what it once was."
4Kings CSS now TCM (CSS)
Team CoolerMaster have picked up the 4King's CSS line-up. The move comes as no surprise after both 4K and TCM recently released their Counter-Strike: Source teams and rumours were quickly spreading of a 4K to TCM move. Callisto (Jack Mason) said, "TCM wanted a top team and so we have built one. We will be attending UKeSA, The-Experience, Multiplay i37 and possibly Outpost On Fire. We have a great lineup and practice has been going excellent so far. Myself, George, Henry and James have all played in teams together before so we have alot of team play / strats there already. Then of course we needed that 5th player who was going to fit into the team and get along with everyone. That 5th was no other than Shadowman, a big fragger, team player and a great guy."
Transition Forms (CSS)
The UK has a brand new eSports team with the formation of Transition. The new CSS roster is made up of two ZEN players (Macky & crazycat) and 3 former 1.6 players (Aleski, 101 & RedH). The decision to move from 1.6 to Source seems to have been easy one for Aleski. "Since KODE5, ESWC and WCG decided to cancel their UK qualifiers. There's no point playing 1.6 right now. So I decided to go inactive from dignitas. Kal and Ollie convinced me to make a cheeky little source team. We have more money than Scrooge McDuck."
Bashers drop CoD4
First up, ButtonBasher's Call of Duty 4 is no more. Stevy Verheyen gave it straight by saying, "After disappointing online & offline results, constant line-up changes and several other problems, I have lost motivation to rebuild the team and go any further. We have tried to keep the team "Benelux only" for a long time but there was a huge lack of available talented players at the moments we needed them the most. I want to wish everybody of the former Button Bashers CoD4 team good luck in the future, and who knows we might meet again!"
ButtonBashers will be running a small tournament to find a replacement side for the summer. The winner will get to attend the UKeSA Grand Finals and a number of summer LAN events.
fnatic pick-up former Basher (CoD4)
fnatic's Call of Duty 4 squad have thrown a bone to former ButtonBasher, Stevy. fnatic mainstay tidde is the odd man out in this one and has been released by fnatic.
Mick is back with Dignitas (CoD4)
Dignitas have brought back Mick (Michael Bradshaw) to their Call of Duty 4 side after a hiatus. blackmane will take a step back from the team while Mick shows what he's capable of. Considering Dignitas' performance at i36, and blackmane's behaviour in particular, this move doesn't come as a surprise.
Team CoolerMaster sign TradeMark Gamers (TF2)
TradeMark Gamers have allowed their entire Team Fortress 2 roster to move to Team CoolerMaster. The former Ubersexuals squad was signed by TmG when TF2 was announced as a Dell XPS Premiership title. With the gap between the UKeSA Grand Finals and the end of season being so long, the UKeSA has been approving most team and roster changes with this one being the biggest exchange so far. Captain dunc (Duncan Wraight) said, "I was incredibly surprised when Xman approached us. We have left Trademark Gamers on good terms with no hard feelings from either side but we simply couldn't pass up this amazing opportunity to play for one of the best gaming organisations in Europe."
4K grab new arsenal in Weapons (TF2)
4Kings have finally replaced their Team Fortress 2 side after losing their former side to Team Dignitas. Gaming's royalty have picked up Weapons of the Rebellion's first team to fill the void. 4King manager Dr. Gonzo said, "4kings have had some great names in this game and we're proud to carry on that tradition with this pick-up. WOTR have been a fantastic team for some time now and they have the right blend of work ethic and talent. I see this team as a huge part of the 4kings jigsaw and I'm confident that together we will both go on to great things."
YoYo & Infused swap one (TF2)
YoYoTech have traded myzz to Infused in return for Skeir. Myzz will immediately move into the starting line-up of Infused while Skeir will be with YYT on a trial bases.
Dignitas enter Street Fighter IV (SFIV)
Team Dignitas have signed up Street Fighter IV player Zak (Zakery Bennett). Dignitas Manager ODEE is pleased with the signing and said, "I was introduced to Zak last year by Ricochet and when I met him I was impressed with how he presented himself and I knew he would be perfect for our organisation. Zak brings experience and extreme talent with him and on the SF4 release he set a world record in London by defeated over 100 people in a row. Zak has of course as you may have seen represented our team at the Celebrity SF4 event in London. He has also recently been to Belgium to compete with Team GB and last week won the London Ranking Battle 6 tournaments."
