Starcraft II: Beta Opt-in on Battle.net
Posted by SmellyMoss on May 7th 2009 10:22
Blizzard has opened registration for the beta of Starcraft II. Here's what you need to do:
1. Register on battle.net
2. Register a Blizzard game with your battle.net account - an EU World of Warcraft account will NOT work, you must use another Blizzard game. Eurogamer's Oli Welsh is on the ball though and points out that you can grab a game like Diablo II for only a fiver nowadays.
3. Wait patiently.
Word on the street is that Blizzard plan to fix the EU WoW/battle.net account problem before the European launch of the beta so if you can wait patiently without doing steps 1 and 2, you should still be fine.
