Moss: TF2 Mentor Project & Twitter

The TF2 Community is currently embarking on an extremely interesting project called the TF2 Mentor Project. Basically, the elite are loffering to teach and monitor the progress of new and maturing players. A while back, when I had a bit of a go at the Halo community for charging people to have lessons, several of them began to offer their expertise for free. Bravo I say, there is no better way for the best players to give back to the heart of their community then by teaching and nurturing potential proteges.
The way it works is simple; to be a mentor you need to have played in the ETF2L, wptf2l, ED, UKeSA, or ESL in a Division 4 team or above. To find a mentor, players just need to contact the project and ask for one. They only ask that you have an aspect of your game that you would like to improve so they can match you up properly and so that the mentor knows what to expect. A big round of applause to everyone who is taking part. A list of mentors can be found here.

If carlsberg made gaming communities, it would probably be the TF2 community. Still the friendliest & most generous.
Where are the sponsors at! :)
