Alienware Cups: Week 1 in FIFA 09 & TF2

Alienware Cup UKeSA Season 1: FIFA 09
Fixtures: Week 1 | Week 2
Round Up: Pre-Cup | Week 1
First up, the shocker of the week - AdamW goes down 1-0 to sozshark. So much for my prediction of an all AdamW final. Other close matches saw SKaMzZ narrowly beat MattyL7 1-0, hawksey dance around Commmet 2-1, Infused's Ben trump Craig Senna 3-0 and The Jakal take out SmokinAceRob 4-2. Week 2 match-ups go live on April 16th at 21:00 BST.
Alienware Cup UKeSA Season 1: Team Fortress 2
Fixtures: Week 1 | Week 2
Round Up: Pre-Cup | Week 1
Vale! really are one for the back pocket. These guys put in the work week in, week out and it shows. First, they managed to go a perfect 7-0 in regular season play in the UKeSA Championship with a +28 RD (Round Differential). That's a perfect +4 rounds per game! What's even more incredible is that they've managed to continue that form coming into the Alienware Cup for TF2. In Week 1 they beat Pul Kai 4-0 and in Week 2 they are looking to do the same to extenSia.
The only other team to have an equally perfect record in the UKeSA Championship is It's a farm, and although they did manage to get a Week 1 victory versus WotR B, they did drop their first round in competitive UKeSA play when the match ended 3-1. You can download the demo here.
In other TF2 action, I Dont Know beat extenSia 3-1 and DCSB Red managed the draw against YoYoTech's 2nd team.
Alienware Cup UKeSA Season 1: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Fixtures: Week 1 | Week 2
Round Up: Pre-Cup | Week 1
With i36 happening this week, most teams will be looking to fit their match-ups in over the next few days. Here is a recap of my predictions for the Alienware Cup for CoD4:
8 teams, 2 groups and several of the UKeSA Championships (UC) teams are ready to go head-to-head. In fact, the CoD4 UKeSA Cup is a who's who of the Championship play-offs with H2K, Quad, YoYoTech Dragons, nwave and Enro all ready to do battle. Any one of these teams could take this cup but the favourites have to be Northwave and the Dragons. Both of these sides were a perfect 5-0 in the regular season of the UC. The Dragons were a solid +69 in their five matches. However, anything could happen and counting out the likes of Celsus and H2k would be foolish.
Alienware Cup UKeSA Season 1: Counter-Strike: Source

Fixtures: Week 1
Round Up: Pre-Cup
The Alienware Cup for Counter-Strike: Source gets started on April 19th, 2009. Here is my pre-cup picks:
The CSS Alienware Cup features a fantastic mix of skill and versatility. Veritas, Good Looking Gamers, Rasta with Pasta and The Imperial are all undefeated in the UKeSA Championship. UKeSA has done a good job in seeding these four by putting two of each of the powerhouses in each Group. Group 1 is Veritas' for the taking with both Rasta sides, Northwave, and Envision filling out the group. Group 2 features TI and GLG with Nanotek, Think, and Vital all vying to make it out of the group stages and into the knockouts. My money is on Veritas to take it all.
UKeSA Championship Division
Congrats to ChrissyB and AdamW for making the PS3 final in FIFA 09. I know I'm looking forward to a rematch of the 2008 FIWC UK Final! Please note that finalists will be contacted soon with LAN information.
Not much happening else where in the Champs with many games receiving a post i-series break this week. However, the action will start up again next week with several knock-outs getting underway. More on this soon! Setbacks in games such as CS 1.6 have been due to unconfirmed scores. All teams please enter and confirm any remaining scores to help progress things even faster.

Never said it was a pretty dance... perhaps he tripped around you and managed to make it look like a dance?
