ED welcomes the XLEAGUE community

ED welcomes the XLEAGUE community

The XLEAGUE community joins Enemy Down starting from right now

Posted by SmellyMoss on Feb 5th 2009 20:41

Enemy Down is pleased to welcome the XLEAGUE community to ED.

This is exciting news for the console gaming community and for Enemy Down. Starting immediately, XLEAGUE users will be able to log on to ED using their XLEAGUE username and password. Once logged on they will be able to compete immediately in Enemy Down PC and console events.

"I am very pleased to see the XLEAGUE community being welcomed with open arms by Enemy Down. The XLEAGUE infrastructure was growing tired and now for our users to be able to access the new Enemy Down, that is just fantastic news," said XLEAGUE Community Manager Steven Tu.

As both a presenter and former operator at XLEAGUE, I am excited that the XLEAGUE community is joining Enemy Down. The new ED is a state-of-the-art gaming portal which features not only competitive gaming and matchmaking, but also focuses on interaction and community much like XLEAGUE with user submitted video, blogs and news. It's really all about bringing together the core console and PC gaming communities, a necessity if we want competitive gaming to grow and prosper.

XLEAGUE user accounts have been activated on Enemy Down, all you need to do is login.

Welcome to Enemy Down and feel free to add me as a friend!

Sounds good,

Miss watching Xleague :(

May the unity reign throughout the land.

Being a former xleague LEGEND (I couldn't write it in bold or underline it) I look forward to the community feeling that was there becoming a large part of ED's console gaming scene.

Forward the frontier, that's what I say.

ye miss going on xleague, was well funny watching yourself on tv.

Dekko said: (Feb 06 2009 at 11:45:15 GMT)

Yeah, it was a strange experience; let's hope it can be revived and supported by the community at large so it has a good chamce at success. The user list here at ED is over three times what it was at xleague, so hopefully if the players get behind it, victory will be the ours!

so long pulse or xleague

Mister X said: (Feb 09 2009 at 08:09:03 GMT)

it'll be cool to see if pulse/xleague can now be relaunched with ukesa the community is much bigger now so it could work better if they get the money to make shows

eLIPHAS_ said: (Feb 09 2009 at 11:09:52 GMT)

I can see this causing a variety of problems on the forums.

Ryoga Hibiki said: (Feb 09 2009 at 12:50:32 GMT)

In what way, eLiphas?

Anyways, XLEAGUE is suppose to be seperate from the competitions as they are solely just a media production company from now on. It will be interesting to see how it will come together in terms on Enemy Down, UKeSA and XLEAGUE...
