The squad count for the UKeSA Premiership will be happening on February 2nd. What do teams need to have in place to qualify and be counted?
You must have your full squad signed up and payed and be run by a UK Manager.
If you don't have all of this in place, UK managed squads will still be able to play in the Championship. All squads must be fully signed up and payed by February 6th to qualify for the Championship Division. All players must also have completed GUIDs (Gamer User ID's).
Signing up your team and squad:
You can sign up for the Open and Championship Divisions here. Managers must have their team and squads signed up in full and payed by February 6th. Learn how to create and manage teams here. Having problems paying your UKeSA fee? Try here.
Remember: managers can only manage ONE team. They can manage as many squads within that team for a single game as they like. However, only 1 squad per team can qualify for the Premiership.
GUID & Payment Check Mark:
Once you have your team signed up you will notice a red X next to each roster member. Two things must be completed before the red X becomes a green check mark and your players are eligible to compete.
1. They must be fully paid.
2. They must have entered a valid GUID (Game User ID). Console players must enter their gamertag or PSN account name. The check box will go green once the account has been confirmed - this can take a few days. PC titles require you enter your Steam ID or game specific GUID. Again, this will take a couple days to process.
Registering a GUID is as easy going into your user profile, going to the bottom of the page and filling in the GUID field. You must repeat this for multiple games with different GUID's.
Non-UK Team Removal:
Non-UK teams have until Monday, February 2nd to confirm they have a UK Manager or they will be removed. Please check your PM's for further details.
Feel free to ask questions in the comments section below.

Can a player still join the Championship roster once the signup period closes?

Is the 7 quid for each individual player or for the whole team? Doesnt really say :/

@ blody
Where there is an issue about manager nationality we will approach the manager directly.

Each individual player

@snuke.Grem
Yes, during a transfer period and assuming that the team has enough members in it’s squad to be counted for the Championship Division.
Schu11ers said: (Feb 01 2009 at 10:42:37 GMT)
@Stephen K
It’s £7.49 per player

Thx Epsilon.Baldrick - you beat me to it :)
Kendle said: (Feb 01 2009 at 17:16:13 GMT)
@blody, I'll be interested to see if you get accepted. Proving your manager's nationality isn't the issue, proving a 16 year old from N.Ireland OWNS a Latvian CS:S team could be the fun part, especially when he's not even mentioned on that Latvian CS:S team's website.
blody said: (Feb 01 2009 at 22:37:41 GMT)
very good job you've done there kendle, gratz on that. He is from Latvian family and is a part of our community for a long time, and oh yeah, I dont have to prove anything to you my friend...

WHY?
SmellyMoss said: (Feb 02 2009 at 08:16:11 GMT)
Because then what is stopping an all one team Premiership? An example is in single player games we are only 3 players per team. I can think of a team in FIFA that owns about 3 of the best UK players. What is to stop that team signing the next best three thus making FIFA Prem all made up of a single team?

smelly - i know what is going to stop them
/Vervous already signed them ;)

haha. wicked.
Kendle said: (Feb 02 2009 at 09:33:20 GMT)
blody, you're quite correct, you don't have to prove anything to me, you have to prove to UKeSA that your manager OWNS your team. Even if he were a part of your community (presumably registered under a different name on your website?) does he OWN your team?
I apologise if it appears I'm picking on you, I don't mean any offense, it's just that a lot of DOD:S teams have not signed up to the Championship because they don't have UK "owners". They might have UK players, they might have UK managers, but they don't have UK owners, and that's what UKeSA require.
UKeSA have said they'll be removing teams without UK owners today, so I'll be checking tomorrow who hasn't been removed and seeing if there's scope for DOD:S teams to still sign up by the Friday deadline who meet the standards set by those who haven't been removed.
