World In Conflict is set to receive an expansion pack this March, according to Eurogamer. The title seemed to have been tossed by Sierra after Vivendi merged with Activision when promises of console versions failed to materialize. Just when all hope was lost for WiC, along came Ubisoft who purchased the franchise and developer, Massive Entertainment, from Activision in November.
This fantastic news for an awesome game that really received the short end of the eSports stick. Let's hope we see a WiC revivial.
