UKeSA Teams
Questions
- What teams are eligible for the UKeSA?
- What happens if a team is sold?
- What is a team?
- What is a squad and squad slot?
- What happens if a UKeSA team folds midway through a season?
- How do I enter my team in a UKeSA league?
A team is eligible only if:
A. The Manager holds IP ownership of the team AND is British and UK based.
OR
B. The team is a UK Limited company.
If the team (Team and all associated IP) is purchased by another team in its entirety, then the purchasing team owns all the “squad slots” of the team it has purchased across all divisions.
Team mergers and purchases must be reported to and approved by the Community Council.
A squad is defined as a group of players competing for a team in a single game.
A “squad slot” is a team place in a division. A squad slot belongs to the Team Manager or the IP holder of the team.hat play for the same Manager.
If a team folds half way through a season they will not get any prize money and if they are a Premiership team their retainer will go back into the prize pot for the following season.
However, the UKeSA will do everything in its power to stop this from happening. If a manager quits, the team will be asked to find a new manager. This can be a player or anyone else involved with the team. If the team is unable to find a suitable manager, the team will then fold and the empty slots will be filled by the next highest seeded team the next season.
Create your team/clan, and form a squad for the game title you want to compete in. Select the squad using the drop down menu under your username in the top right part of the site. Once selected use the nagivation bar at the top of the site to find the game you want to compete in. Once you've found your game, go to the tournaments area of that game title. You will be taken to the tournament page of that game and will see a list of available tournaments. Click on the headline of the UKeSA league you want to enter and then select 'enter event.' Read the Code of Conduct and tick the Code of Conduct box and sign-up. Only full teams will be considered for the Championship and Premiership Divisions.
