UKeSA Sponsorship
Questions
- What if happens if my team is sponsored?
- What if my team is named after the lead sponsor?
- What kind of sponsorship support will UKeSA teams receive?
Teams that have sponsors are encouraged to develop and maintain their sponsorships. However, UKeSA sponsors and partners will take priority over team sponsors at UKeSA related events and UKeSA related leagues and tournaments.
Teams will be expected to use UKeSA approved team branding and wear UKeSA approved clothing. Team sponsors will be allowed to be included in the design in accordance to UKeSA sponsorship protocol.
Teams involved in the UKeSA are allowed to be named after lead sponsors. However, if a sponsored team name is in direct conflict with a headline UKeSA sponsor, the team will be asked to be renamed.
Premiership and Championship Managers will recieve specialist support training from the UKeSA. Training packages are divided into two levels, Championship and Premiership Managers.
Championship & Premiership Team Managers:
- Sponsorship awareness training (1/2 day)
- UKeSA Team manager basic training (1/2 day)
All training course are held in London on a seasonal basis.
“Sponsorship awareness” is a required to attend UKeSA sponsorship evenings.
The first attendance of training is mandatory, if Managers would like to attend subsequent seasons training for “top up” purposes they may do so.
UKeSA will ensure that there is a fast and flexible system allowing squads to identify teams that are recruiting and teams to identify the best squads in a game title.
At UKeSA Sponsorship events, Premiership Managers will be encouraged to present their squads and teams to perspective sponsors. Championship Managers will be invited to attend these events but will be unable to present to sponsors directly.
