Questions

What are the general match rules?

All Enemydown L4D matches are 4v4 versus. All Enemydown L4D matches will take place over the full campaign.

All players must record p.o.v. demo's for the entirety of the match. These demo's must be uploaded and made available to the opposition and admin (if requested) for 7 days following the fixture. Failure to produce  personal demo when requested by either the opposition or an admin will result in a default loss for the offending players team.

The home team (first named in fixture) will start as infected.

The match will commence when both teams have typed "Ready" in chat.

In the event of a player dropping from the server the game will continue unpaused until that player rejoins or an eligible substitute connects.

Each team may request two 2 minute "grace period" for bathroom breaks. These breaks can only take place at spawn time between maps.

Images can be uploaded to Enemydown by the team leader using the "images" link on the team leaders profile.

Any team leaving the game before the full completion of the match will lose the match by a default score of 5000-0. This rule will only apply if all 4 team members leave the server.

What Server settings are needed? and what MOD's can I use?

All Enemydown L4D matches must take place on teams own dedicated servers. no matches may take place on "random" public servers.

All servers must use the latest version of the Enemydown L4d server.cfg which you can download from here

Any third party admin mods or plugins (such as source mod etc) may only be used for changing maps or for "ready-up" configs. Any abuse of such mods will result in punishment of the offending team including the possibility of removal from any Enemydown ladders and competitions.

How do we prove the score?

Each team must provide a screenshot of each completed map and an end of campaign screenshot with final score. Screenshot images can be uploaded to Enemydown by the team leader using the "images" link on the team leaders profile.
