Questions
1. Often during a difficult match or conflict you may need to make a compromise with another clan or with an admin if appropriate. To make your matches as smooth as possible everyone should try to be open to compromise as you may want another clan to compromise with you one day.
2. We ask that all players treat each other and admins with respect and do not engage in personal attacks and baseless accusations.
3. Clan leaders are ultimately responsible for their entire clan and all of their clan members. They should ensure to the best of their abilities that their clan know and follows all the rules of Enemy Down, Failure to do this may result in the clan leader being punished or the clan removed. The clan leader should also set the example for their clan.
4. Impersonating an Enemy Down admin is strictly forbidden. This includes inside or outside of Enemy Down matches. People who are found to be doing this will be removed immediately.
5. All of Enemy Down members should be tolerant of all other members respecting their beliefs, culture, race, sex etc. Respect should always be mutually given. You should also not impersonate other people.
6. Different games have different age restrictions. Due to the nature of the internet it is very difficult for Enemy Down to ascertain someone's true age. It is not quite as hard for Clans to find out that information. We ask clan leaders to act accordingly when they find out they have people playing for them who are under the recommended age for any particular game.
7.A "Lag Test" must be completed prior to starting the match. This is a test round that does not count that must use the standard game settings that will be used during the match. If the game lags during this test, a new host must be chosen. If both teams cannot find or agree upon an acceptable host, the match needs to be voided.
8.Clans are expected to be on the server and ready to play with the minimum number of players at the scheduled or agreed upon time. Any clan that fails to be present with the minimum amount of players and ready to play on a server 15 minutes after the match start time may forfeit the match. The other clan may be awarded a default win.
Accusations should not be made on the forums. Please contact an admin first.
1. Conflicts will be made available to the opposing clan leader for review so they can investigate their clan privately. Any posts relating to the conflict will be removed immediately if they are posted without the approval of an admin.
2.For all glitching and cheating claims, the burden of proof is on the accuser. To submit a glitching or cheating claim, you must submit a conflict and include all Proof for an Admin to review.
3. Cheating accusations are reviewed by a team of admins, and so not one personal opinion is taken into account. A secondary team of admins may review the case upon appeal.
4. Once a decision has been made and agreed, an attempt to contact the CL of the accused player will be made before the conflict is completed, this is to give the CL the chance to remove the player from their clan, so as to minimize the damage to their reputation.
5.you may if required need to show proof of a game result for the result to be accepted, All proof must be clearly visible and show the in-game full scoreboard during the completion of that map/game. The proof must all clearly show both team's players to be considered valid, we do provide an image upload section under media/images.
6.Any changes to the format/time of the game must clearly be put into the challenge notes IRC,MSM,AIM and other messanger logs will not be considered valid proof.
1. Individuals caught cheating will be banned from Enemy Down.
2. Clan leaders or Deputies caught cheating will be banned and the clan will be looked into with a view to removing it as a CL who may use players that cheat or abuse other rules, i.e. Unique IDs, etc. This brings all the clans results into question and the will be considered for removal from the entire ladder.
3. If a clan has a large number of or a high percentage of players that have been found to be cheating, should again, be considered for removal from the entire ladder.
4. An attempt to circumnavigate any punishment will not be tolerated.
