How do I create an account or find/create a team?

For help creating an acount see this video.

Finding a team:

You can search for the team you want to join by selecting 'Find a clan' underneath your username.

OR

If you don't have a team to join, but don't want to create your own team try the ED recruitment centre. Teams that are looking for players will post ads up here.

Otherwise, try looking around the teams on ED and find one that suites you. Teams/Clans that are recruiting will have a great big green YES underneath the recruitment column are looking for new players. Find a clan you want to apply to and click 'apply to join here' underneath the clan's Staff and Contacts section.

Creating a team:

Log in to Enemy Down and click on your username at the top right portion of the ED site.

Along the top navigation bar you will see a tab called 'My ED' in the drop down menu of this tab click 'Create Clan'

Fill in the blanks and you're off! Remember: no bad names or rude stuff.

How do I add members to my Clan/Team Roster?

From your Clan overview page, click on the EDIT button (at the top next to your clan name) this will now allow you to invite players into your clan using the roster invite tool on the right of the page, simply enter their name in the box, the site will then find them and invite them, the player in question will then be sent a PM asking them if they want to accept.

Once a member is added you can determine what level of activity you want them to have in the clan or remove them. Only Owners can change Clan details. Team Managers can add and subtract members and run squads.

How do I add squads?

A squad is a team of players that play a single game title for your Clan/Team.

The 'Squad' tool of the 'Edit Clan Details' page lets you make changes to your squads. A squad will automatically be created for your main game title.

Creating a new squad is as simple as selecting 'Create a new Squad.' Which you will find on the clan overview after you click on the EDIT button (next to the clans name)

To add members, just click 'Edit' next to the Squad you want to change. Here you can change all of that particular Squads details. The Squad Leader and Arranger can both find matches for the squad to play.

How do I remove myself from a squad and/or clan?

On the clan or squad profile page you will see a "leave" option next to your name in the "Staff and Contacts" or "Roster" section. A confirm popup prompt will appear to make sure you want to depart the clan/squad.

If you do leave a clan and choose to return to it you will need to wait until you are green ticked again.

How do I add a player to a squad?

To add a player to a squad you must first add them to your clan, then you can assign them to which squad they are in.

Step 1: Go to the parent CLAN page - browser url will have CLANS/ID at the end, if it has CLAN/ID/SQUAD/ID you are on the wrong page and need to go to the CLAN.

Step 2: Click [edit] next to your clan name.

Step 3: You are now on the page /CLANS/ID/edit. On the right hand side you will 'ROSTER'. There is a box below that says ADD NEW MEMBER. Type in the players USERNAME into this box and invite.

NOTE: It appears that the player MUST have logged into enemydown.eu to be found in this way (think of it as activating their account on ed.eu)

Step 4: Now the player is on your CLAN roster you can add them to your squad. Navigate to the squad you want the player in (browser should read /clans/id/squads/id) and click edit again.

Step 5: On the right hand side there should be a squad roster box. At the bottom of this there is a drop down that will show all CLAN members. Add the player from the clan to the squad.

How do I add a GUID?

Step 1: Login

Step 2: Go to your profile - link is your name top right. Browser will read /users/ID/profile

Step 3:
Scroll down to the bottom and 'Register New GUID.'

Step 4:
Select a platform, a game, enter your ID, Gamertag or PSN (Steam titles please include STEAM_) and enter a reason for the change if this isn't your first time entering a GUID for that title.

Step 5:

Step 6:
Repeat for all games you play... TF2/CSS/1.6/COD4, etc.
